Sellers will list their guns, ammo, accessories, and more directly on our Marketplace in an auction or fixed-price selling format.  Here’s how to confidently bid or "Buy Now" on the Marketplace:

1. Create a Free Marketplace Account

You must have a Marketplace account to bid, buy, ask a listing question, and send messages on the Marketplace. Registration is 100% free, requires some basic information, and requires verifying your e-mail address.

2. Do Your Due Diligence

While we aim to make your experience as safe and transparent as possible, it’s your responsibility to verify the listing details before making a purchase.

Be sure to:

• Carefully review the listing description, images, attachments, videos, and other listing details.

• Ask questions using the “Questions and Answers” or “Contact” features on the listing.
   

3. Secure Financing and Plan Logistics

• Ensure your finances and logistics are ready before placing a bid or selecting "Buy Now."

• Verify accepted payment methods with the seller in advance.

• Review shipping or pickup details to avoid surprises later.

• For regulated items (e.g., firearms):

  • You must choose a local FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer to receive the item.

  • Contact the dealer ahead of time to confirm:

    • The item is legal in your state and local area.

    • The process for legally transferring and taking possession of the item.
       

4. Place a Bid or Buy Now

Our Marketplace is intuitive and secure:

• All purchases are binding, so only bid or "Buy Now" if you’re fully committed and have completed your due diligence.

• To keep bidding fair, any bids placed within the final 60 seconds will extend the auction by 2 minutes.

• Some listings may include a Buyer’s Premium — an added percentage fee applied to the final sale price. This fee is paid by the buyer and helps the seller cover administrative, operational, advertising, and Marketplace selling costs.

• Some auction listings may use the “Buy Now” option — purchase instantly at the listed price to skip the auction entirely.

• Some listings may offer a “Make Offer” option. Submitting an offer is also binding — only make an offer if you're ready to follow through if it's accepted.

5. Win the Auction The highest bidder wins — simple as that.

• If the auction has a Reserve Price, your bid must meet or exceed the hidden minimum set by the seller.
• If the auction is No Reserve, the highest bid wins regardless of the amount.

Once the auction ends, you'll be connected directly with the seller to finalize the transaction.  “Buy Now” listings that are purchased are immediately connected to the seller to finalize the transaction.  Both parties will receive contact information to complete payment and arrange local pickup or shipping.
 

Sellers may choose to list their Local Gun Service Ads on the Marketplace as a classified listing.

Follow these steps to act on these listings:

1. Register to Communicate

To contact the listing owner (seller) directly or ask a private or public question, you must first register for a free Marketplace account.

2. Perform Due Diligence

All classified listing transactions are conducted outside of the marketplace. It is your responsibility to perform due diligence and ensure that the listing you're considering is right for you before dealing with a third-party person or business.

• Thoroughly review the listing description, photos, and listing details.

• Ask the listing owner any questions you may have with the "Submit Public Question", "Send Message", or “Contact” features.

4. Complete Transaction

You and the listing owner (seller) are responsible for conducting all activities related to the listing outside the marketplace.

 

⚠️ If a seller includes a return policy with their listing, it is the seller's responsibility to manage any refunds for payments made.
✅ If the seller is unable to fulfill the item purchased, you will receive a full refund of the Sale Price and Buyer's Premium (if collected).
🕒 Buyers are expected to complete payment within 3 days of purchase.
